Biography

Angelique Rivera is an actor and filmmaker based in Los Angeles, California. She is of Puerto Rican descent and grew up in Kissimmee, Florida. In 2015, after graduating from the University of Florida with a BFA in Acting, she moved to Los Angeles and six months later landed her first major role starring in the second season of the critically acclaimed, ABC Emmy nominated drama, American Crime, created by Oscar winner John Ridley. The season was nominated for many awards including the Golden Globe and Primetime Emmy Awards for Best Television Limited Series. After American Crime, Rivera has appeared in numerous productions in television and film including "Supernatural" , Gus Van Sant's "Don't Worry He Won't Get Far On Foot", and Rodman Flender's zombie romantic comedy "Eat, Brains, Love".
In 2021, Angelique wrote, directed, produced and starred in her first short film, I'm Not Okay, a deeply personal story about dealing with grief in isolation. She plans on releasing it independently in 2023.
