Nicolas R. Perez-Carreno

Nicolas Perez-Carreno is a writer and filmmaker based in Atlanta, GA. He grew up in Dalton, GA, a small town with the second-largest Latinx population in Georgia. He wrote his first script at the age of 12, has found storytelling essential to humanism, and aspires to tell stories that push for empathy in a complex world. He participated in the MoviKarma TV Development Fellowship in 2022, wrote for ScreenRant, interned alongside Mucho Mas Media - a growing Latine production company producing the Jenni Rivera biopic, and was selected as a mentee for the Read Latinx Writers' Initiative in the 2022-2023 cycle. He currently has 2 pilot scripts and is completing his first feature script.
